I grew up on this pizza and although my first slice when I came home wasn’t what I expected… I came back today and it was just as good as I remember it. I have not lived here in many years but the first thing I do when I visit, before ANYTHING else, is to get a slice. My first slice was bland… as in the sauce had no flavor. 😳 I then had a slice the next day and it was excellent. I grew up in Niskayuna and have vivid memories of the oregano-powered sauce. The sauce I had on my first slice had maybe a hint of oregano but not that oregano-forward taste profile I do vividly remember from the 70’s, 80s and 90s and beyond. I have been back to NY 20 times since moving away and this is the first time I was left disappointed. But the slice on day 2 was BACK to what I remembered. The Sicilian crust was the same and still great! Please Homestyle, keep that oregano-forward flavor that made your pizza taste distinctive and memorable.

We ordered the chicken louie and it was basically watery pasta with ZERO chicken to be found. The sauce was thin and flavorless. It was not worth the twenty bucks at all. When we called to ask about the missing chicken, they told us that the cooks put it on the pasta but we could not find any chicken throughout the whole dish. All they did to remedy this was to offer us a $5 refund. Not great customer service at all.

I ordered eggplant parm dinner and got the worst meal i ever tasted, the spaghetti was mush and way overcooked, the middle of the eggplant was cold and the sauce smelled musky. The used to be the best. It’s so sad businesses skimp out on quality to make money. You lost a customer

I'm very disappointed, I stressed that my pizza be lightly cooked and how I don't like burnt pizza. Guess what, burned again. This is like the second time!! Like I don't get it, why don't people listen. We're starving so we are going to eat it, I did call back and report it. Their pizza used to be so good, you didn't have to specially order lightly cooked pizza. I don't go as often as I have because of this. I got a $10 credit I should've gotten a free pizza for a next visit, we'll see how it works next time or it's gonna be the end of my business there. I've been going there since I was a teenager!! Used to brag about them, not any more. This has happened one time too many ☹️.

I asked for extra sauce on my pizza and my pizza was dry. I like my pizza with sauce I’m pissed. The wings were good I asked for extra sauce on them too cause I like my wings saucy. I called them up and they said they can give me $2-$3 off next time. I said no I will never order from you again. $56 for some dry pizza with no sauce. I was beyond pissed I threw the pizza away🤦🏽‍♀️.
